1963-1964 School Year
 The First NHS Girl's Track Team

The 1963-1964 school year produced the first girl's track team in Newcomerstown High School history. This feat was accomplished through the combined efforts of Miss Batsel and Miss Besson. Only two meets were held, both with West Lafayette and the inexperienced girls surprisingly won one and lost one. All of the girls were underclassmen and the future of girl's track was very bright and promising.
