Eleanor June Yanai, 69, of 436 Beaver Street, Newcomerstown, [OH] died at 5:30 p.m. Saturday [November 3, 1990] at her home following a lengthy illness. 

She was born June 24, 1921, in West Lafayette, daughter of the late Theodore K. Addy and the late Ellen Reed Addy.  She was a former resident of Franklin Park, Illinois, where she retired after 22 years of service with Knowles Electronics Company.  She atttended Christ United Methodist Church in Newcomerstown and enjoyed reading as one of her favorite leisure activities. 

Mrs. Yanai leaves a son, Terry Wise of West Lafayette;  one sister, Lois Addy of Cleveland;  two grandsons, Richard Wise and Jeffrey Wise;  and a step-granddaughter, Courtney King.  Two brothers and one grandson are deceased. 

Private family services and burial were to be held at the convenience of the family.  Memorial contributions could be made to the American Cancer Society, 821 Anola Drive, Dover, OH 44622.  The Ourant Funeral Home handled arrangements.
