Former Resident Dies in Massillon
Newcomerstown News, March 28, 1946

Mrs. Nora E. Luke, 41, of 741 Erie Street, Massillon, died Tuesday night following a brief illness.

She was born at Newcomerstown, May 10, 1905, a daughter of Mrs. Mae Wise.  Her father is deceased.

Also surviving are her husband, Glenn O. Luke and two children of a previous marriage, Mrs. Chester E. Ross and Leroy Butler, both of Newcomerstown;  two sisters, Mrs. Laura Fouch and Mrs. Pearl Porcher, four brothers, Ralph, Francis, Elmer and Eugene, all of Newcomerstown and one grandchild, Gloria Jean Ross.

She was a member of Dames of Malta, daughters of America of Massillon and a member of the United Presbyterian Church in Canton.

The body will be brought to the Jones, Lydick, Castle Funeral Home Friday morning where friends may call.

Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Assembly of God Church, conducted by Rev.  E.B. Johnson and burial will be made in West Lawn Cemetery.
